The Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking orders to extend the period to deposit 50% of the award amount and to extend the stay granted in C.M.P(MD)No.4667 of 2025 in CMA(MD)No.270 of 2025, dated20.03.2025 pending disposal of the civil miscellaneous appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed. The petitioner/Insurance Company is directed to deposit 50% of the award amount as directed by this Court on or before 19.12.2025.
