PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to permit the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- available in the petitioner's Account No. 10892 on the of 1st respondent Trust within the time limit fixed by this Court so as to enable him to meet out marriage expenses of his daughter, which is scheduled to be held on 07.11.2024.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Special Grade Conductor working in the respondent Transport Corporation seeking a Mandamus as against the Corporation for disbursing a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- available in his PF account to enable him to meet out the marriage expenses of his daughter. To the said effect, the petitioner has also submitted a form to the respondent Corporation on 20.09.2024 along with representation on the said date. However, there is no response from the authorities. Hence, the present writ petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to release the eligible amount to the writ petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
