ORDER

This Petition has been filed by the defacto complainant seeking direction against the Respondent/Investigation Officer to complete the 1/4

enquiry in Crime No. 138 of 2022 within the time to be specified by this Court and file the final report.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent/Investigation Officer submitted that the investigation on the complaint given by the Petitioner is in progress and the Investigation Officer seeks further period of six months to complete the investigation and file the final report.

3.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded. The Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the process of investigation and file the final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as undertaken by him/her.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
