O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that earlier the respondent Police have started harassing and the petitioner has filed Crl.O.P. (MD).No.21578 of 2022 and this Court directed the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner. It is submitted that in spite of it, the Inspector of Police, Cholavandhan Police Station / Respondent No.3 has repeatedly called the petitioner and threatened that the proceedings under 110 Cr.P.C. will be initiated against him.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the petitioner is a rowdy sheeter and there were six cases pending against the petitioner and in respect of the enquiry only, the petitioner is called and the respondent Police are not harassing the petitioner and so far, the respondent Police have not initiated the proceedings under 110 Cr.P.C. The same is recorded. 2/4

4. In view of the submissions made by both sides, this petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to follow the procedure scrupulously in case if the petitioner presence is required.
