This petition is filed to direct the respondents-1 & 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband for their life and limb based on the petitioner's representation, dated 12.11.2019.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner fell in love with one Karuppasamy and they got married in the temple. She has also aged about 24 years. The respondents-3 to 5 are being parents and brother of the petitioner objected her marriage and also threatened their life with dire consequences. Therefore, the petitioner has lodged a complaint as aginst her own parents and brother before the second respondent. Infact, the parents also lodged a complaint for missing their daughter namely, the petitioner hrein.

3. Considering the facts circumstances, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry with the respondents-3 to 5 and pass an appropriate order and provide necessary police protection on the hands of the respondents-3 to 5 from the petitioner as well as her https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

husband.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
