This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order passed by the first respondent, thereby, rejecting the application seeking passport on the ground that though the petitioner was acquitted from a criminal case, the petitioner's name is found in the list of forbidden organization and also his activities are under surveillance. 2. In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh application seeking passport. On receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. No costs, Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
