For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.245/2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.245 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had introduced one Manimaran to the de-facto complainant. The said Manimaran had induced the de-facto complainant to give Rs.3,00,000/- through the petitioner for getting job in Singapore and thereafter, cheated him. Hence, the case.

3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.It is a case of job racketing. The petitioner received a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- from the de-facto complainant for obtaining job in https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.19732 of 2022 Singapore. While pendency of this petition, the matter was referred before the mediation and in the mediation, no settlement was arrived between the parties. Therefore, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much necessary in this case. 5.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the facts that no settlement was arrived between the parties and the the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much necessary in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Hence, this petition is dismissed.
