ORDER

The petitioner seeks for transfer of investigation in Crime No.194 of 2025 from the file of the second respondent to the third respondent or any other investigation agency mainly on the ground that though several other offences were made out, FIR was registered only for the offences under Section 316(2), 318(2) and 61(2) of BNS, 2023.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that by an alteration report dated 25.08.2025, the offences have been altered to the offences under Section 61(2), 316(2), 318(4), 336(3), 338, and 340(2) of BNS, 2023.

3. It is also seen that the FIR was registered only on 31.07.2025. In such circumstances, this Court finds no reason to transfer the investigation. However, it is needless to say that the second respondent shall conduct the investigation in a fair manner and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
