ORDER

The petitioner seeks transfer of investigation in Crime No.183 of 2025 from the file of the fourth respondent to the second respondent on the ground that the fourth respondent, after registering the case under Section 194 of BNSS, 2023, had not taken any effective steps to complete the investigation.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that after investigation, the fourth respondent had closed the FIR for the reason 'action dropped'.

3. Since the investigation is not pending, there cannot be any transfer. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, if so advised.
