Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to take necessary action on the petitioner's compliant dated 26.07.2024 in CSR No. 650 of 2024 dated 26.07.2024 on the file of the second respondent and consequently directing the second respondent to recover the amount of Rs.3,00,000/- swindled by miscreants within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent to take necessary action on the writ petitioner's compliant dated 26.07.2024 in CSR No. 650 of 2024 dated 26.07.2024 on the file of the second respondent and consequently direct the second respondent to recover the amount of Rs.3,00,000/- swindled by miscreants within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that he is not pressing the second prayer for direction to recover the amount of Rs.3,00,000/-.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the 2/4

writ petitioner, CSR No.650 of 2024 came to be registered, that they came to know that amount was withdrawn from the ATM in Kolkata and that investigation is in progress.

5. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry in CSR No.650 of 2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
