(Thro' VC) This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to change the investigation in Crime No.31 of 2014 on the file of the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent and pass further orders.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that based on the direction of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti on the petition filed by the petitioner under section 156(3) Cr.P.C, a case was registered at Ettayapuram Police Station in Crime No.31 of 2014 under sections 423, 420, 465 and 468 IPC and on enquiry, the petition given by the petitioner was closed as "Action Dropped" by 2nd respondent, on 21.05.2018 and he has also filed the copy of the report to that effect. 3.Recording the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
