PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to rectify the mistakes crept in the Adangal Register (A registrar) for S.No.942/2, subdivision 4 in respect of 00548 hectares (classifying them as Government Porampokku) and to classify the same as a private holding in the petitioner name and to issue Patta for the entire extent of 6.04 ares (for Survey No.942/2 subdivision 14 to an extend of 0.56 ares and survey No.942/2 subdivision 4 to an extent of 5.48 ares) in the petitioner favour.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to rectify the mistakes crept in the 'A' registrar for S.No.942/2 subdivision 4, in respect of 00548 hectares, which is classified as Government Porampokku, to re-classify the same and to issue patta for the entire land, measuring to an extend of 6.04 ares in favour of the petitioner.

2.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 14.08.2017 seeking to rectify the mistake occurred in the 'A' Registrar, in respect of the property in S.No.942/2 subdivision 4, to reclassify the same and to issue fresh patta in respect of the entire property in S.No.942/2 situated in Pappakudi, Seranmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District, in favour of the petitioner. So far, no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2017, rejecting the claim of the petitioner, final orders have been passed by the respondent on 18.08.2020 and the same has also been communicated to the petitioner. W.P.(MD) No.21212 of 2018 Additional Government Pleader has produced a copy of the proceedings of the respondent in Na.Ka.E1.No.1672/2020 dated 18.08.2020 before this Court. The aforesaid order dated 18.08.2020, is taken out on file and the same shall form part of this order. 4.By recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the respondent is directed to serve a copy of the rejection order dated 18.08.2020 to the petitioner, if the same has not been sent to the petitioner already. No costs.
