(Thro' VC) This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to quash the case in C.C No.1 of 2017 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tuticorin.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the the case in MC No.1 of 2017 filed by the respondents was dismissed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tuticorin, on 19.07.2018 and hence, the matter has become infructuous.

3.The said fact is not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

4.Recording the above, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
