PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records in Crime No.161 of 2016, pending on the file of the first respondent Police and quash the same.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.161 of 2016, pending investigation on the file of the first respondent Police.

2.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also allegations made in the complaint, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the First Information Report. Right from the year 2017, no stay has been granted by this Court and therefore, there was no reason for the respondent Police to stop the investigation.

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.10688 of 2017 3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.161 of 2016 and file a final report or a closure report, as the case may be, before the concerned jurisdictional Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
