This petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.400 of 2018, dated 29.07.2018, on the file of the first respondent as against the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police has already completed the investigation in Crime No.400 of 2018 and also filed the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai, and the learned Magistrate has taken cognizance in C.C.No. 226 of 2019. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
