ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for 1/3
the alleged offence under Sections 406, 420, & 120(B) of IPC and Section 5 of Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act, 1997, in Crime No.07 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.
3. Considering the nature of allegation in this case that the petitioner is said to have indulged in cheating the defacto complainant by promising him of doubling money and received deposit and thereafter, did not repaid the amount and cheated the victims, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.
