The learned counsel on either side submitted that the marriage held between the respondent and the first accused has already been dissolved by mutual consent.
2.In view of the above development, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the proceedings pending. Accordingly, the proceedings as against the petitioners in D.V.O.P.No.20 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Palani, is hereby quashed and this Criminal Original petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
