PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.101 of 2017, dated 16.05.2017 on the file of the first respondent Police for offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 341, 353 and 506 (ii) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and quash the same as illegal as against this petitioner.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.101 of 2017, dated 16.05.2017, pending on the file of the first respondent Police as against the petitioner herein.

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11567 of 2017 been completed and final report has already been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sankarankovil and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.125 of 2017. He further submitted that the petitioner has been arrayed as Accused No.6. 3.In view of the above development, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the First Information Report at this stage. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised.
