(Thro' VC) This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation from the 3rd respondent in connection with a case in Crime No.285 of 2017 to any other honest police officer in Trichy and investigate the same under the supervision of the 2nd respondent herein and to complete the investigation within a stipulated time fixed by this court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint given by the husband of the petitioner namely Raji, the 3rd respondent police registered a case in Crime No.285 of 2017 under section 174 of Cr.P.C and on proper enquiry, the the complaint was closed as "Further Action Dropped" by 3rd respondent.

3.Recording the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
