This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.2629 of 2016, on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the investigation has been completed and final report is ready to be filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.VI, Madurai.

3. In view of the above development, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the First Information Report at this stage. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent Police to file a final report before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.VI, Madurai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11995 of 2017 such filing, the concerned Judicial Magistrate is directed to take the final report on file immediately and proceed further, in accordance with law.
