PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent 1 and 2 to survey the land in S.No. 81/1, to an extent of 9 acre 54 cents and S.No.81/2 to an extent of 86 cents situate at Kottampatti Village, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the challan paid by the petitioner on 19.07.2023 and based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2023 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

The petitioner with a grievance that his application dated 24.07.2023 for conduct of survey has not been considered has filed this writ petition.

2.Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents submits that the petitioner has submitted his application on 24.07.2023 and survey would be conducted within a reasonable time.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conclude the survey within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
