Prayer in WP(MD).NO.6356 of 2024 :- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay retirement benefits such as Graduity, Communtation, Encashment of Earned Leave and Provident Fund to the petitioner with interest at 6% per annum with effect from 01.11.2023.

ORDER:- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, Advocate for the Petitioner and none appeared for the respondent, this Court made the following order:

O R D E R

This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" to grant 6 months time to comply the order passed in W.P (MD) No.6356 of 2024 dated 15.03.2024.

2. It is seen from the records, while disposing the present writ petition, this Court by an order dated 15.03.2024, directed the petitioners herein to quantify the benefits payable to the petitioner and pay the same within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of that order. However, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought time for a further time for a period of six months to dispose the said case.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant three months time to quantify the benefits payable and pay the same to the petitioner, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No further time will be granted in this regard.
