ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is an aspirant for the post of Executive Officer, Grade-IV in Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department. The petitioner had participated in the selection process held for the year 2017-2019. On account of his involvement in a criminal case, he was not selected. The declaration of result was withheld. The petitioner has now been acquitted. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard. The respondent / Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2022 and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the respondent / TNPSC to pass order one way or the other. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
