PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to permit the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- available in the petitioner's Account No. 10805 on the of 1st respondent Trust within the time limit fixed by this Court so as to enable him to meet out marriage expenses of his son, which is held on 30.08.2024.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed by the Driver of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking a Mandamus as against the Corporation for disbursing a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- available in his PF account to enable him to meet out the marriage expenses of his son.
2. On perusal of the affidavit indicates that the petitioner has given a representation on 29.08.2024 along with the statutory form for disbursement of the amount. Since the said disbursement request has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
4. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to release the eligible amount to the writ petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
