O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, challenging the impugned show-cause notice issued by the second respondent dated 01.11.2019.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is working as a Salesman in the Respondents Corporation from the year 2003 without any blemish. While the matter stood thus, on 23.08.2019, an inspection was made in the petitioner's shop and based on the said inspection, an allegation was made against him stating that he sold the product above the MRP value. For that, on 01.11.2019, the impugned show-cause notice has been issued by second respondent and challenging the said show-cause notice, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.H.Arumugam, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents has submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.24158 of 2019 that the present writ petition has been filed challenging the showcause notice issued against the petitioner. This Court has also granted an order of interim stay in this matter. Subsequently, the petitioner has also submitted his reply to the show-cause notice on 06.11.2019 and therefore, the respondents are ready to consider the reply submitted by the petitioner and thereafter, if necessary, proceed with the enquiry and pass final orders in this matter.

4. In reply to the said submissions, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner agrees for the said course as stated by the learned standing counsel for the respondents.

5. In view of the said submissions, since the petitioner has already submitted his reply to the show-cause notice dated 01.11.2019, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the reply submitted by the petitioner dated 06.11.2019 and if necessary, thereafter proceed with the enquiry and pass final orders, as expeditiously as possible, on merits and in accordance with law.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
