JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The appeal on hand has been instituted against the order dated 22.06.2023 passed in W.P.(MD)No.14573 of 2023. 2.The serious allegation raised against the appellant had been admitted by him by stating that the employee of the appellant's Mill has committed illegality. Such an admission would be sufficient to form an opinion that the appellant has violated the licence conditions. The learned Single Judge considered the grounds raised by the appellant and formed an opinion that the licence granted to the appellant expired on 31.12.2020. The renewal application was not submitted within the prescribed time limit and there was a delay in submitting the renewal application. Even then, the learned Single Judge granted liberty to the appellant to pursue the renewal application and further directed the respondents to consider the renewal application on merits and in accordance with 2/4
law. Such a direction granted itself is a concession shown to the appellant. Therefore, we are not inclined to admit this Writ Appeal and accordingly, this Writ Appeal stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
