O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.28 of 2021 and file a final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that even though the respondents Police have registered a case in Crime No.28 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 468, 471, 420 and 120B IPC, on a complaint given by the petitioner, there is no substantial progress in the investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondents submits that so far 14 witnesses were examined and the respondents Police would complete the investigation as quickly as possible.

4. Considering the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondents Police to expedite the investigation 2/4
