ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS, seeking orders, to issue a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members based on the representation, dated 16.09.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR.No.109 of 2024 came to be registered and enquiry is pending; that though summons have been served to the petitioner to appear for enquiry, he has not turned up. He would further submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the private respondent, FIR in Crime No.77 of 2024 came to be registered on 05.10.2024 for the alleged offence under Sections 189(2), 329(4) and 324(4) of BNS and investigation is pending.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed 2/4

of. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in the manner known to law.
