Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to survey the land in S.No.471/34 in Arittapatti village in Melur Taluk in Madurai District and to remove the encroachments made by the 3rd respondent and others as accordance with law as under G.O.(Ms) No.540, Revenue (LD-6(2)), Dept., dated 04.12.2014.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.] The Honourable Division Bench of this Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.1495 of 2019 on 09.07.2019, directed the second respondent / Tahsildar to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.(MD)No.1786 of 2019 petitioner and the third respondent within a period of four weeks.

2. When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent had complied with the orders of this Court by considering the petitioner's representation and passing the order on 02.12.2019. The learned Special Government Pleader also produced a copy of the order dated 02.12.2019 passed by the Tahsildar.
