ORDER

This petition is filed to call for the records pertaining to the case in Crime No.429 of 2017 on the file of respondent police dated 02.11.2017 for the offences under Sections 447, 427, 506(2) and 379 of IPC and quash the same as illegal.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation in the above said crime number has been completed and the final report has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.2, Kodaikanal and the case was taken on file in CC No.3 of 2022.

3.Since final report has been filed and cognizance was also taken, this petition has become infructuous. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Liberty is open to the petitioners to seek appropriate remedy before the concerned Court, if they are still aggrieved by the Final Report. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
