This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to call for the records pertaining to the Impugned First Information Report in Crime No.232 of 2024 dated 26.07.2024 for offences u/s. 3(1)(p) of SC/ST(Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and quash the same as illegal in so far as this petitioners are concerned. 2/4

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that after completion of investigation, the final report has been filed as 'mistake of fact' on 23.10.2024 before Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
