ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) This writ petition has been instituted to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent in the land classified as Public Pathway in T.S.R.No.107 at Aandavar 2nd Street, Kuruchi, Melapalayam, Tirunelveli-5, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2024, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents would submit that the initial notice issued by the Authorities was quashed by this Court by granting liberty to issue a fresh show cause notice. In compliance, the 2/4
Tirunelveli Corporation has issued a fresh notice under Section 128 of the Tamilnadu Urban Local Bodies Act, vide proceedings dated 20.08.2025. It is further contended that the Authorities will continue the enforcement action. 3.In view of the said submissions, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to continue the enforcement action and complete the same by following the procedures as contemplated under the relevant Statute and Rule within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
