Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to declare Karuppakudipatti Village as a separate Village Panchayat by bifurcating Thirukalambur Village Panchayat within a time stipulated by this Court and also divide the boundaries separately for Karuppakudipatti Village on the basis of the Thirukalambur Village panchayat resolutions dated 05.07.2012 bearing resolution No.3 of 2012-13 and on 02.11.2014 bearing resolution No.6 of 2016-16 and the Ponnamaravathi Panchayat Union resolution dated 05.09.2012 bearing resolution No.40 of 2012 and resolution dated 11.12.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition ie., to bifurcate the Village, would not fall within the realm of the power of judicial review conferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The High Court cannot interfere with the administrative affairs of the Government which is to be considered based on various factors. Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Government for redressal of his grievance.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
