PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents especially 3rd respondent to survey the land in Survey No.107/6A measuring 0-17.50 Ares in Piranpatti Village, Singapunari Taluk, Sivagangai District and fix the four boundary by considering his application, vide payment challan dated 30.06.2023 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The petitioner has submitted an application for survey of his land in S.No.107/6A, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District and filed this writ petition that his application has not been considered by the respondents so far.

2.Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents submits that though the petitioner has submitted an application for survey of his land in S.No.107/6A2, this writ petition is filed to conduct the survey for the land in S.No.107/6A.

3.In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this is a typographical error and survey has to be conducted in the land in S.No.107/6A2.

4.Considering the submissions made by either side, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conduct the survey in the petitioner's land in S.No.107/6A2, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners, as per Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act,1923 if there is any objections and complete the survey within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
