This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct the Juvenile Justice Board/Judicial Magistrate, Theni to consider the Petitioner's bail 1/4

application on the same day of his surrender in Cr.No.310 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent.

2.The Petitioner is the accused for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.310 of 2022 pending on the file of the second Respondent and apprehending arrest, he has filed the present Petition.

3.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4.Considering the nature of offences alleged against the Petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The Petitioner is directed to surrender before the Juvenile Justice Board/Judicial Magistrate, Theni within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order or 15 days from the date of uploading the order copy on the web-site of this Court. The learned Judge shall consider the bail application of the Petitioner 2/4

and dispose of the same as per law.
