ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. R. Sureshkumar, Government Advocate(Criminal Side), for the Petitioner this Court made the following order:

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition had been filed seeking to extend the time for a further period of six months to complete the investigation and to file final report as per the direction given by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19592 of 2021, dated 09.03.2022. 2.The explanation offered by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing-II, Tiruchirappalli, in this case through an affidavit is accepted, considering the nature of offence under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, and also the fact that there may be too many complainants in this nature of case. Hence, this Petition is allowed and a further of time six months is granted to complete the investigation and to file final report in Cr.No.78 of 2021.
