O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.937/2017 pending on the file of the first respondent police.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that there are totally 450 victims in this case and the matter has already been transferred to the City Crime Branch, Trichy and a new crime number has been assigned in Crime No.2/2019. 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation at this stage, more particularly, since it involves a large number of victims and an effective investigation has to be conducted in this case and the interest of the victims will have to be safeguarded.

4.In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the City Crime Branch, Trichy is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.2/2019 within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
