ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.182 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cheranmahadevi, Tirunelveli District.

2.When the matter was posted for admission on 23.10.2017, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner took adjournment and the same was posted after two weeks. Thereafter, on vacation, when the matter was listed for admission, the learned counsel for the petitioner took adjournments only. Therefore, the matter is pending for the past 3 years without even ordering notice to the respondent or admitting by this Court.

3. It seems that the petitioner has no interest to proceed with the matter, further. More over, the case is of the year 2016.Therefore, this Court is of the view that the pendency of this criminal original petition would not serve for any purpose. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
