O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.89 of 2023 and file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court No.IV, Trichy.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that even though the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.89 of 2023 against the petitioner for the offence punishable under Sections 279 and 304(A) IPC, on a complaint given by the second respondent/defacto complainant, there is no substantial progress in the investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondent submits that the respondent Police request some time to complete the investigation and file the final report.

4. Considering the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent Police to expedite the investigation 2/4
