PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Crime No.529 of 2016, on the file of the first respondent Police Station and quash the same in respect of the petitioner / Accused No.2.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.529 of 2016, on the file of the first respondent Police as against the petitioner herein. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the investigation has been completed and charge sheet is ready to be filed before the concerned Court. He further submitted that the petitioner's name has been deleted from the First Information Report.

3.In view of the above development, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the First Information Report at this stage. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent Police to file a final report before the concerned Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such filing, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.14325 of 2017 concerned Judicial Magistrate is directed to take the final report on file immediately and proceed further, in accordance with law. It is left open to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
