(Thro' VC) This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to quash the final report made in SC No.165 of 2015 on the file of the III Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that in this case, all the witnesses were examined before the trial court and now, the case is posted for hearing arguments. 3.The above said fact is not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

4.Under the above circumstances, this court is of the considered view that now the case is posted for arguments before the trial court, at this stage, the relief sought for by the petitioners to quash the final report made in SC No.165 of 2015 on the file of the III Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli, cannot be granted. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
