ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 of IPC in Crime No.151 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused, by giving false promise to pay a sum of Rs.1000/- per day, had taken the car of the defacto complainant. Thereafter, the accused neither gave the rent nor returned the car. Hence, the case. 3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.Considering the nature of allegations against the petitioner in this case that the petitioner along with the other accused indulged in enticing the various car owners to give their car and on rental promising higher returns and thereafter, the cars have not been returned to the owners and it is alleged that it has been dismantled and sold in the market and several vehicles are yet to be recovered and subsequently more victims are coming, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
