ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner joined the respondent Corporation as Conductor. He retired on 13.03.2018. His terminal and retirement benefits including Provident Fund and Gratuity were settled belatedly on different dates. It is well settled that for such belated settlement, the retired employee is entitled to interest. The respondent is directed to pay interest on the belated payment at the rate of 6% per annum. This shall be paid within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is allowed accordingly. No costs.
