(Thro' VC) This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to quash the case in C.C No.159 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Padmanabhapuram, in so far as the petitioners/A2 to A5 are concerned.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the 1st respondent that this court already quashed the C.C.No.159 of 2013, in Crl.OP(MD)No.16257 of 2013 dated 05.04.2018 against all the accused persons and hence, this criminal original petition has become infructuous and he has also produced the order passed by this court for the perusal of this court.

4.A perusal of the order passed in Crl.OP(MD)No.16257 of 2013, dated 05.04.2018 this court has quashed the C.C No.159 of 2013, dated 05.04.2013 not only for the petitioner therein, but also in respect of all other accused persons, who are the petitioners/A2 to A5 herein.

5.Under the above circumstances, this is no necessity to keep this petition pending. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
