O R D E R

Seeking mandamus to pay crop insurance to the petitioners for the year 2017-2018, this writ petition has been filed in the year 2019.

2.Today(26.03.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, a representation has been made on behalf of the petitioners that except one Seenivasagan S/o Ayyappan/the 20th petitioner, other petitioners have been provided with the insurance amount. The insurance amount has not been disbursed to the said Seenivasagan alone.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent seeks short accommodation to ascertain and to report the same.

4.Considering the relief sought for by the petitioners and considering the fact that except the 20th petitioner, other petitioners have been paid with the insurance amount, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the 20th petitioner (Seenivasagan S/o Ayyappan) to submit a fresh representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such application, the second respondent shall consider the same in accordance with the scheme and pass suitable orders within a period of four months from thereon. No costs.
