************* [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM.,J.] The impugned notice was issued by the first respondent/Corporation intimating the Petitioner that the Government land has been illegally encroached and to demolish the same.

2.The above notice was issued based on the complaint given by a person, who is stated to be the brother of the Writ Petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)NO.24394 OF 2019 3.Considering the above facts and circumstances, the Petitioner is directed to submit his objections to the impugned notice within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the authority concerned shall consider the reply given by the Petitioner and then proceed to take action in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter. Before taking further action, an Officer of the first respondent/Municipality shall inspect the property. Till such time, status-quo which is prevailing as on today(21.11.2019) shall be maintained.

4.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
