This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in the First Information Report in Crime No.232 of 2017, dated 18.09.2017, on the file of the respondent Police. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the First Information Report itself came to be closed by the concerned Judicial Magistrate since it was filed under Section 110 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the period was already over.
