ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in connection with Crime No.Not Known of 2024, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Madurai City, Madurai under the guise of investigation.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there existed land dispute between the parties, that since the second respondent has failed to comply with the terms of the contract, the petitioner was constrained to prefer an appeal before the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Tribunal and some of the home buyers have also filed appeals and the Appellate Tribunal has passed a common order directing the second respondent to execute the sale deeds in favour of the home buyers and even thereafter the second respondent has refused to comply with the said direction and that in the meanwhile, the second respondent has preferred a second complaint and on that basis, the first respondent has been harassing the petitioner. 2/4
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner has already appeared five times before the first respondent and also produced the copy of the documents and the order of the appellate Tribunal.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that they have already decided to close the complaint.
5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
