The petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.176 of 2017 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.1 (Magisterial Level), Nagercoil, as against the petitioners.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the second petitioner is died, who is the proprietor of the first petitioner. Hence, the charge for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act as against the petitioners itself stand abated.
