ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to to delete the petitioner's name from the History Sheet No.1/2008 maintained in the fourth respondent police station based on his representation, dated 30.08.2024, and pass orders in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has not been involved in any case for the past eight years and in spite of the same, the petitioner's name has not been deleted from the History Sheet.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the application of the petitioner has been received and the same will be duly placed in the next Committee Meeting and as per the decision, it will be taken in accordance with law.

4. In view thereof, the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2024, shall be considered in the next Committee Meeting or at the earliest and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with law in any event, not later than the three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
